Students

National Model UN

While serving as Dean of Academic Studies at Lee College in Baytown, Texas, I had the privilege of working with faculty from the Honors College to start the first National Model United Nations (NMUN) group. This picture is the inaugural group of students on their first trip to NMUN in Washington, D.C.

Student Success

Graduation is my favorite time of the year. It represents an opportunity to celebrate our students' accomplishments and all they sacrificed to get to this point. It was my honor to participate in my first commencement exercises as the 5th President of Howard Community College. What a wonderful day, filled with many memories that will last a lifetime.

Study Abroad

My first time escorting a group of students overseas was to China for 14 days. We visited the Great Wall, the Beijing Language and Cultural Institute, and Hangzhou. The students enjoyed learning about the history and culture of China and its relationship with the US. We also enjoyed wonderful cuisines and activities that will never be forgotten.
