Students

The above picture was taken at the Houston Food Bank in 2015. I worked with faculty and staff to provide a service learning opportunity for students to work at the Food Bank on a Saturday morning. Students in several classes participated and they designed the shirts!

National Model UN

While serving as Dean of Academic Studies at Lee College in Baytown, Texas, I had the privilege of working with faculty from the Honors College to start the first National Model United Nations (NMUN) group. This picture is the inaugural group of students on their first trip to NMUN in Washington, D.C.

Student Success

Graduation is my absolute favorite time of the academic year. It is an awesome experience to see our students reach their goals and to help them celebrate their achievements with family and friends.

Study Abroad

My first time escorting a group of students overseas was to China for 14 days. We visited the Great Wall, the Beijing Language and Cultural Institute, and Hangzhou. The students enjoyed learning about the history and culture of China and its relationship with the US. We also enjoyed wonderful cuisines and activities that will never be forgotten.
